Planning permission applications were initiated by her team in 2021, but actual construction work did not commence until 2024 due to a three-year delay in obtaining approval.

The scale and complexity of the renovation project in London necessitate a prolonged timeline, preventing Dua and her husband, Callum Turner, 36, from moving in until 2027. According to design expert Leigh Ann Raines, the significant investment of £3 million in this property involves collaboration with some of London’s most reputable designers and contractors. She explained that the extensive excavation work beneath the existing structure is a meticulous process that requires time and precision to avoid disturbing neighbors, emphasizing the complexity of such a project.
