Delta Goodrem expresses her excitement about participating in Strictly Come Dancing but shares a concern as the new series approaches.
The renowned singer-songwriter was confirmed as the third celebrity contestant for the upcoming season in June. With her debut on the ballroom stage anticipated next month, she has been vocal about her expectations and apprehensions as the countdown progresses.
Recently, former footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips was revealed as the latest addition to the show’s lineup. He joins other personalities like Dani Dyer, Bethany Antonia, Dame Sarah Storey, Will Best, and Chris Appleton.
Changes extend beyond the contestants, with Johannes Radebe, Emma Willis, and Josh Widdecombe stepping in as new hosts to replace Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. Additionally, Strictly introduced five fresh professional dancers following a significant reshuffle.

In an interview with the Independent, she expressed her eagerness to embrace the glitz and glamour of Strictly but emphasized her wish to be paired with a taller professional dancer as she prefers not to be responsible for lifts during performances.
Standing at 5ft 10ins, the Born to Try hitmaker’s preference aligns with only Aljaž Skorjanec and Kai Widdrington, who are 6ft or taller.
Delta further mentioned her excitement about the opportunity to delve into a new skill through the dance competition, which she plans to integrate into her future live performances.
Recognized for her role as Nina Tucker in Neighbours and subsequent successful music career, Delta sees Strictly as a platform to evolve as a performer while adding a fresh element to her stage shows.

In another alteration for the upcoming series, It Takes Two hosts Janette Manrara and Fleur East will not be returning, leaving the hosting positions for the spin-off show vacant.
