Disney+ is currently showcasing The Testaments, hinting at a surprising romantic connection between Agnes and her guardian Garth. The series delves into the lives of a new generation of women in Gilead, struggling against its oppressive regime.
Beneath the surface, a rebellion led by Garth, a male guardian and secret Mayday spy working for the MacKenzie household, is brewing. Garth, portrayed by Brad Alexander, forms an unspoken bond with Agnes (played by Chase Infiniti) while also collaborating with another Mayday spy, Gilead newcomer Daisy (Lucy Halliday).
Alexander, a former model turned actor, made his screen debut in 2023 in Netflix’s “You” and has since appeared in Apple TV’s “Surface” and crime drama “Lynley.” The Testaments marks one of his most significant roles to date.
Expressing his aspirations to explore various industries, Alexander shared in an interview with The Greatest Magazine his belief in embracing diverse experiences and titles throughout his life journey.
Fans can stay updated on Alexander’s journey by following him on Instagram @bradalexanderactor. Disney+ subscriptions starting at £5.99 offer access to a wide array of popular series, including The Testaments and other acclaimed titles from Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and more.
Before embodying the character of Garth, Alexander fulfilled a lifelong dream by meeting Margaret Atwood, the author of The Testaments. The series was adapted by producer Bruce Miller, remaining true to the original story while incorporating updated elements to align with the show’s timeline.
