An emergency department physician was attacked with a knife at a hospital in West London, leading to the arrest of a man on suspicion of attempted murder. Police, present at the hospital for an unrelated matter, responded to the attack and apprehended a 27-year-old individual suspected of attempted murder and causing serious bodily harm. The injured doctor, in his 50s, was treated for non-life-threatening and non-life-altering injuries, reportedly stemming from mental health issues.
