Country music icon Dolly Parton, aged 80, has officially canceled her highly anticipated Las Vegas residency, citing the need for healing. Scheduled to perform six shows at Caesars Palace last December, Dolly postponed the performances to September 2026 due to health reasons but has now announced the cancellation of those shows as well. In an Instagram post, she mentioned responding positively to medication and treatments but acknowledged needing more time to reach a stage-ready level due to feeling “swimmy-headed.”
Addressing her health struggles, Dolly revealed her ongoing battle with kidney stone issues and past surgeries to address abdominal pain and internal bleeding. She emphasized the importance of strengthening her immune and digestive systems for overall well-being.
