A man aged 58 has been accused of a double homicide following the discovery of two deceased individuals at a residence in East Sussex. The victims, identified as Adrian Horton, 66, and Uschi Schild, 46, were found at a property on Seven Acre Close, St Leonards, during the early hours of Tuesday.

The authorities from Surrey Police responded to a call on Tuesday just after 4:30 am reporting injuries to a man and a woman at the scene. Subsequently, Sean Gray, aged 58, was apprehended at a location on Battle Road.

Gray, who does not have a permanent address, is scheduled to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Friday. Detective Superintendent Jay Mendis-Gunasekera expressed condolences, stating, “This is a tragic incident, and our sympathies are with the families, friends, and loved ones of the deceased during this challenging period.”

The investigation is ongoing, with efforts focused on uncovering the complete circumstances surrounding the deaths. It is believed that both the suspects and the victims were acquainted with each other, and no additional individuals are currently being sought in relation to the case.

Law enforcement officers are conducting inquiries at the residence and its vicinity, with an increased police presence to support the ongoing investigations.
