Brigitte, also known as Dr Lurve, will join sexologist Alessandra Rampolla and John Aitken in the upcoming season of the show.
According to The Sun, Brigitte’s Instagram indicates she is currently traveling, with her social media now set to private as she prepares to film in Australia.
A TV insider mentioned that Dr Lurve is not meant to replace Mel but brings her own unique style and approach to the show. She is known for her ability to be warm and entertaining while also being direct and honest when necessary.
In other news, the future of the British version of the show faced uncertainty after Channel 4 decided not to air it following allegations raised in a BBC Panorama investigation. The series had already been filmed but will not be broadcast in September as planned. Channel 4 stated that the show adhered to strict welfare protocols and background checks, despite the allegations made.
