“Drug Conflict Escalates: Lorry Smashes into Criminal’s Home”

A significant event unfolded in Scotland today when a skip lorry crashed into the residence of a criminal figure linked to a drug conflict. The incident occurred on Brand Drive in Edinburgh on a Tuesday afternoon, as captured in footage showing the truck reversing at high speed and smashing through the front door of the building in the Portobello area. Emergency services swiftly responded to the scene, revealing extensive damage with a gaping hole in the front of the property.

Allegedly orchestrated by the Tamo Junto (TMJ), a gang associated with notorious drug dealer Ross McGill, the attack targeted a 19-year-old resident accused of trying to deceive McGill in a counterfeit money transaction. Sources disclosed that the TMJ aimed at the teenager, purportedly hired by McGill’s rival Mark Richardson, to swindle McGill in a cocaine deal using £500,000 in fake currency.

According to reports, the young individual, affiliated with Richardson’s group, traveled to Dubai, where he met McGill through an intermediary and purchased a large quantity of cocaine with counterfeit money. Despite the middleman’s subsequent trouble in Thailand, the teenager who made the purchase remained low-key in Dubai. However, due to his mother’s continued residency in their Edinburgh home, the property became a target for retaliation.

The ongoing violent feud in Scotland started in March 2025 after McGill believed that the 19-year-old had connections to Richardson’s gang. Subsequently, Richardson’s associates faced a series of attacks, such as firebombings and shootings through windows. The TMJ extended their vendetta to the Daniel clan in Glasgow for their ties to Richardson, setting fire to properties linked to prominent clan members in the city.

A source indicated that the TMJ’s objective is to dismantle Richardson’s gang and all its affiliates, emphasizing their relentless pursuit until all targets associated with Richardson are neutralized. In response to the recent incident, a spokesperson from Police Scotland confirmed road closures in the vicinity after a lorry collided with a house during the afternoon.

The police spokesperson provided details, stating that emergency services were present at Brand Drive, Edinburgh following the crash involving a lorry hitting a house at approximately 2:25 pm on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Road closures were enforced at Christian Grove and Christian Crescent for safety measures.
