Emma Raducanu has made the difficult decision to withdraw from Wimbledon this year due to a stress fracture. The British top-ranked player had been managing a leg injury in hopes of competing in the tournament, but ultimately had to pull out. In an Instagram post, Raducanu expressed her disappointment at not being able to play at Wimbledon and thanked her supporters for their encouragement. She was set to face Antonia Ruzic in her opening match on Court 1 before her withdrawal. Despite a strong performance at Queen’s Club recently, where she reached the final but lost to Donna Vekic, Raducanu will now miss out on playing at her home Grand Slam. Wimbledon 2026 tickets are already available for purchase, including VIP access.
