New details have emerged revealing that Jeffrey Epstein provided accommodation for his abuse victims in upscale flats located in a prestigious area of the UK. This revelation comes after the Metropolitan Police opted not to investigate his criminal activities. The Epstein files released by the US government earlier this year unveiled that the notorious sex offender and trafficker leased four luxurious flats in Kensington and Chelsea.

Receipts, emails, and bank records found in the documents have identified six women as victims of Epstein’s abuse who resided in these flats. These women, hailing from Russia, Europe, and various parts of the world, were reportedly brought to the UK following the Metropolitan Police’s decision not to probe an allegation made by Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre, who claimed she had been trafficked to London.

Despite interviewing Ms. Giuffre in 2015 and 2016, the Met repeatedly chose not to initiate a criminal investigation, even when new information surfaced in 2019, 2021, and 2022. A spokesperson for the London service disclosed that they sought guidance from British prosecutors and collaborated with US authorities leading related investigations involving American nationals.

The spokesperson stated earlier this year that based on legal advice, it was determined that any human trafficking investigation would mainly involve activities outside the UK and perpetrators based overseas, making international authorities better equipped to handle such allegations. Consequently, a decision was made in November 2016 not to proceed with a full criminal investigation.
