A tragic incident unfolded as a family of four was discovered deceased inside their residence in Strullendorf, Germany. The distressing find led to an investigation by the Bamberg criminal police and the public prosecutor’s office.
Concern arose when the landlord could not reach the family and alerted the authorities on a Friday evening. Responding to the call, officers from the Bamberg-Land police station gained entry to the locked apartment, revealing the lifeless bodies of a 52-year-old man, a 49-year-old woman, and their two children aged 14 and six.
Initial reports indicate that the 52-year-old German man fatally shot his wife, 14-year-old son, and six-year-old daughter before taking his own life. The man, who held a firearms license and owned multiple firearms, acted alone in this tragic event.
