A fatal accident occurred in Brampton in the early hours of Sunday, resulting in the death of a man, as confirmed by Peel police. The incident involved two vehicles colliding around 1:10 a.m. in the vicinity of The Gore Road and Castle Oaks Crossing, according to a social media update by Peel police.

Preliminary findings suggest that an SUV and a minivan were both traveling south on The Gore Road when the SUV collided with the minivan at the intersection, causing the SUV to lose control and overturn. The male driver, aged in his 20s, was ejected from the vehicle and tragically pronounced dead at the scene, reported Const. Tyler Bell-Morena via email.

Following the crash, emergency services from York and Peel responded promptly, transporting three individuals with minor injuries to a nearby hospital. Authorities have advised residents to steer clear of road closures along The Gore Road between Gardenbrooke Trail and Castle Oaks Crossing.
