An inquest revealed that Charlie Edwards, the former boyfriend of actress Emily Atack, was discovered deceased in a tattoo studio on Wilton Road, Humberston, on March 24. The Assistant Coroner for Greater Lincolnshire, Jane Eatock, disclosed that Edwards, a self-employed tattoo artist, was found at the studio, although the exact cause of death remains undetermined. The inquest was initiated at Grimsby Town Hall and adjourned until September for further investigation.
Emily Atack previously honored Charlie in a poignant social media post, expressing her grief over his passing. The couple announced their engagement in 2025 and are planning to wed in Spain later this summer.
In a social media announcement, Emily shared the news of her engagement, showcasing a sparkling ring and quoting lyrics from The Cure. She expressed her happiness with the caption, “It’s Friday, I’m in love,” accompanied by three diamond ring emojis.
This summer, Emily is set to appear in the upcoming season of the Disney TV series, Rivals, portraying the character of Sarah Stratton. Her rise to fame began with her role as Charlotte Hinchcliffe in the comedy series The Inbetweeners in 2008. Over the years, she became a familiar face on television, appearing on shows like Celebrity Juice, Dancing on Ice in 2010, and I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2018.
