A grandmother who became a sensation after being lifted 10 feet into the air on a shop shutter has passed away after two years.
Anne Hughes, aged 73, found herself hanging outside the local shop. The video of the incident went viral, garnering over 100 million views on various social media platforms.
While standing by the store with her shopping cart, Anne’s coat got caught when shopkeeper Amir Akram activated the electronic shutters.
