“Heated Rivalry” Season 2: Cast Seeks Privacy During Filming

Published on

Attention fans of the popular TV series “Heated Rivalry”: The Straw + Berry won’t be serving smoothies for you, and the cottage is off-limits during the filming of Season 2. Director Jacob Tierney has politely asked for privacy for the cast and crew while they work on the new season, as shared on the show’s official Instagram account.

The message, directed to the show’s devoted fans, emphasized the importance of giving the cast and crew space at filming locations. Season 2 of “Heated Rivalry” is currently being shot mainly in Toronto and Montreal, with a possibility of returning to familiar spots in Hamilton, Ontario.

Fans have shown enthusiasm to catch glimpses of the show’s stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie. Recent sightings of the pair in downtown Toronto sparked excitement, with Hudson Williams causing a stir after being photographed with a Canadian Tire tote bag.

The queer hockey romance, which premiered in late 2025, quickly garnered a global fanbase for Williams and Storrie, propelling them to new levels of fame within the Canadian TV industry. Both actors have been mindful in setting boundaries with admirers and photographers.

In a recent incident, Hudson Williams was involved in a tense encounter with alleged autograph-sellers in Paris. Meanwhile, another high-profile production in Toronto, Sarah Polley’s film adaptation of “The Bell Jar” featuring Billie Eilish, faced challenges maintaining a closed set as unauthorized photos surfaced on social media.

While the attention on celebrities in Toronto continues to grow, “Heated Rivalry” and its team have expressed a need for space during filming, unlike the situation with “The Bell Jar.”
