An Iranian ballistic missile was fired towards a Kuwaiti air base, causing injuries to multiple Americans as debris fell. The attack reportedly inflicted severe damage on two US MQ-9 Reaper drones stationed at the Ali Al Salem air base, as per Bloomberg’s insider source.
Although Kuwait’s air defenses successfully intercepted the Fateh-110 missile, debris from the interception hit the base, resulting in injuries to approximately five individuals, including contractors and active duty personnel who sustained minor wounds. The report indicates that one MQ-9 Reaper was completely destroyed, while another suffered significant damage. Bloomberg estimates the value of each drone to be around $30 million.
