Jesy Nelson has addressed rumors connecting her to ITV’s popular show “The Only Way is Essex”.
The former member of the renowned girl group Little Mix, aged 35, recently allowed cameras to follow her journey for an exclusive docuseries called “Life After Little Mix” on Prime Video. Additionally, she is set to release a new documentary titled “Jesy Nelson: Life Changing” on screens come July 17.
Given Jesy’s upbringing in Romford, fans were not surprised by speculations suggesting her potential involvement in TOWIE, considering her ties to Essex.
According to a source cited by The Sun, Jesy is in advanced discussions to join the reality show. The insider mentioned that it would be a natural fit as Jesy hails from Essex and already knows several cast members, particularly having conversations with Lauren and Amy Childs, hinting at her possible inclusion in their social circle.
However, Jesy promptly refuted these claims shortly after they surfaced, as reported by OK!. Taking to Instagram, the mother-of-two expressed her surprise at the news and clarified that she is not joining the TOWIE cast, stating her preference for watching the show.
Fans had been curious about how Jesy would integrate into the program, especially after she relocated her life to Cornwall to provide her twin daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster, with a quieter upbringing.
Recently, Jesy revealed that her daughters have been diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA Type 1), a rare condition causing muscle weakness. This life-altering news has inspired Jesy to document her experiences as a single mother raising her daughters in a forthcoming powerful documentary.
The documentary will showcase Jesy navigating the challenges posed by her daughters’ condition, her journey as a single mother post-relationship breakup, and her advocacy efforts to improve newborn screening for the disease, emphasizing themes of motherhood, resilience, and the drive for positive change.
“Jesy Nelson: Life Changing” is set to premiere on Prime Video on July 17th.
