A federal judge issued a ruling on Friday mandating the removal of President Donald Trump’s name from the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The judge stated that the renowned Washington venue could not undergo a renaming process without congressional approval.
U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper, situated in Washington, instructed the Trump administration to dismantle all physical signage displaying Trump’s name and to erase any mentions of a “Trump Kennedy Center” from official materials within a 14-day period.
