Katie Price’s spouse, Lee Andrews, has supposedly been taken into custody once again. The 42-year-old entrepreneur was recently released from prison but found himself back in trouble, allegedly detained by Dubai authorities on suspicion of espionage and fined £120,000 at Lahbab police station on July 10.
While Katie Price is currently in the UK promoting her documentary “Katie Price: Nothing To Hide,” Lee Andrews, who is in Dubai, reportedly informed a friend about his arrest, expressing concerns that Katie might need to assist with bail and suggested starting a GoFundMe campaign.
Sources revealed that Lee Andrews was under stress before the recent arrest, aiming to gather funds to settle his debts, including £54,000 to a car rental company and £15,000 to a UAE law firm. Despite being released from prison earlier, he faced travel restrictions and was required to inform authorities before leaving Dubai.
Representatives for Lee Andrews sought his release from detention to access his bank accounts for debt repayment. He was given a 14-day deadline to settle £69,000 to avoid rearrest. Lee Andrews denied any involvement in fraudulent activities upon his return to social media.
Efforts to reach out to Lee Andrews, Katie Price’s representatives, and Dubai Police for comments were unfruitful. For more celebrity news, follow Mirror Celebs on various social media platforms like TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Threads.
