King Charles has reportedly reached a decision regarding Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. The couple is set to embark on a “faux royal tour” to Australia in a few weeks. This comes after their announcement in January 2020 to step down as senior working royals in pursuit of a more financially independent life outside the House of Windsor.

Despite their initial intentions to support Queen Elizabeth and represent the Commonwealth, Harry and Meghan ultimately agreed to a complete withdrawal from their royal duties. Since relocating to California, they have faced criticism for undertaking unofficial royal-like tours to maintain public visibility and potentially generate income.

Royal expert Ingrid Seward suggested that King Charles has prioritized other pressing matters over monitoring Harry and Meghan’s activities.
