King Charles III has taken an unprecedented step by involving himself in the investigation into his brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s misconduct scandal. The King expressed deep concern over the troubling allegations surrounding Andrew and his ties to Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted paedophile.
Thames Valley Police has confirmed that they are evaluating a complaint filed by the anti-monarchy group Republic against Andrew for suspected misconduct and breach of official secrets. The police are looking into claims that Andrew shared sensitive information with Epstein while serving as a trade envoy.
Additionally, Berkshire police are examining allegations that Andrew sexually assaulted a woman trafficked to the UK by Epstein at his former Royal Lodge mansion in Windsor. Buckingham Palace is willing to provide any relevant documents related to Andrew’s personal engagements, guests at royal residences, or correspondence from a royal email address.
Last year, following disturbing claims revealed by Virginia Giuffre in a posthumous book, King Charles stripped Andrew of all titles and honors. The Palace reiterated the King’s profound concern over the ongoing allegations and stated readiness to cooperate with the police if approached.
Andrew has consistently denied accusations of sexual misconduct with Virginia Giuffre and involvement in Epstein’s activities. Recent allegations suggest that another woman was sent to Andrew by Epstein for a sexual encounter, followed by a tour of Buckingham Palace. Further claims in documents released on January 30 include Andrew and Epstein allegedly proposing a threesome to an exotic dancer.
During a recent public appearance in Lancashire, King Charles faced heckling about his brother’s association with Epstein. Despite the supportive crowd, questions about Andrew’s actions persisted, echoing a similar incident in Essex the previous week.
