Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, famous landmarks worldwide are illuminated in vibrant green, creating a global festive atmosphere. From the majestic skyline of New York to historic sites in Europe, iconic monuments are bathed in green light, highlighting Ireland’s cultural significance.
Participating in this year’s initiative are renowned landmarks such as Niagara Falls, CN Tower in Canada, National Wallace Monument in Scotland, and Heidecksburg Castle in Germany, among others, showcasing solidarity with the Irish celebration.
Tourism Ireland’s campaign has transformed some of the world’s most recognizable landmarks into symbols of Irish heritage, promoting pride and unity across nations.
The Empire State Building in New York and Heidecksburg Castle in Germany are among the striking green-lit structures as part of Tourism Ireland’s Global Greening campaign.
Other notable landmarks include Hôtel de Ville in Cannes, France; Cibeles Fountain in the Spanish Capital; Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy; and Wiener Riesenrad in Vienna, Austria, all radiating a vibrant green glow in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.
