Scottish TV host Lorraine Kelly expressed deep sadness when she announced live on her show that her co-presenter at ITV would be departing soon due to scheduling changes. Lorraine shared her emotions with viewers during Thursday morning’s episode, revealing it was the last day for former Strictly star Tyler West on her entertainment segment.
Tyler explained that he would be stepping down from his role on Lorraine’s show to take on the position of KISS FM Breakfast host alongside Love Island’s Chloe Burrows. This move was necessitated by changes in the ITV schedule, following the departure of Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely, who had been hosting the morning show since 2020.
Tyler, who currently hosts an afternoon slot on Kiss FM, expressed excitement about his new role, promising a lively and entertaining breakfast show for listeners. The competition at KISS FM Breakfast will include popular shows like Radio 1 Breakfast with Greg James and Capital Breakfast with Chris Stark, Jordan North, and Sian Welby.
Recently, Tyler participated in Celebrity Race Across the World with his fiancée, EastEnders star Molly Rainford, finishing as runners-up. The couple narrowly missed the top spot, coming in just two minutes behind the winners after completing a challenging 33-day journey through Central America, covering a distance of 5,900km from Mexico to Colombia.
