Expressing her shock to followers, Lauren disclosed, “I got my Louis Vuitton bag stolen in central London today. Hence why I look like this. We were just having a lovely gorgeous shopping day, a girls’ day – bit of dinner, went to Selfridge’s, shopping, walked out of Selfridge’s, bag’s on my shoulder in Selfridge’s – got a video of it.”
Although the specific bag taken was not detailed, Lauren is frequently seen with a Louis Vuitton Papillon Trunk, valued at nearly £2,500, in recent times. Recounting the incident, she mentioned, “We walked to the Tube station, got on the Tube to go to a brand gifting suite at one of my favourite hotels, The Londoner. Having a walk around the gifted suite, lovely pieces at the event, and then we decided we’re going to get a little cocktail. A Hugo Spritz on the balcony area. And as I sat down, I looked at Char with a sheer state of panic in my eyes.”
Lauren’s friend initially thought something serious had occurred, but Lauren realized her bag was missing. A frantic search ensued involving Lauren, Char, staff, and security scouring the area. Eventually, it was discovered that the bag was likely stolen on the Tube or taken off her arm in Leicester Square.
