A male in his twenties has been hospitalized following an assault by two individuals in the outdoor area of a pub in Sudbury.
Authorities responded to the White Horse establishment on North Street in Sudbury at 11:50 pm on Saturday after receiving reports of an injured man outside the premises. Reports indicate that the victim was attacked in the beer garden of the Comfortable Cow pub on King Street prior to the incident.
The victim sustained a single stab wound to his arm during the assault by two men wearing face coverings and armed with a bladed weapon, according to Suffolk Police. Following the attack, the victim fled the scene, pursued by the suspects along King Street before they turned right from the pub. The injured individual was promptly taken to the hospital and is currently in stable condition.
Descriptions provided by authorities indicate that the first suspect is over 5 feet 6 inches tall, slender, and was dressed in a black Adidas-style hooded top and balaclava. The second suspect is described as being under 5 feet 6 inches, slender, and wearing black attire along with a balaclava.
Law enforcement officials are treating the incident as a targeted attack and suspect that the individuals involved were acquainted with each other. Investigations are currently ongoing, including a review of CCTV footage and other inquiries in the vicinity.
