A man convicted of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl at a pub in Birmingham has been sentenced to six years and five months in prison. Sean Sewell, 46, was apprehended shortly after the incident was reported by the victim on April 8. Following his arrest, Sewell was also linked to a prior incident on a bus where a woman reported indecent exposure.
Sewell, a resident of Newtown, pleaded guilty to both charges and will be registered as a sex offender for life. The sentencing took place at Birmingham Crown Court on July 10. Police confirmed that Sewell was swiftly captured and investigated, ensuring justice for the victims.
