Five men were attacked and stabbed on Horn Lane in Acton, London this afternoon, according to the Metropolitan Police. The incident was reported around 2.47pm. Police officers administered first aid to the victims at the scene. Four of the injured individuals, aged 20, 22, 42, and 47, were transported to the hospital for treatment of stab wounds. Fortunately, their injuries were determined not to be life-threatening or life-altering.
Additionally, a fifth man involved in the altercation was also taken to the hospital and subsequently arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs. The suspect remains hospitalized.
Chief Superintendent Jill Horsfall assured the local community of swift police action to investigate the incident thoroughly. Increased police presence is expected in the area in the coming days to address any concerns residents may have. If anyone has information or concerns, they are encouraged to approach the officers on duty.
