Nicola Peltz has unexpectedly ended her association with a notable animal welfare organization, as per recent accounts. The spouse of Brooklyn Beckham, aged 31, co-established a dog sanctuary called Yogi’s House with a close companion and was previously its primary advocate.
Located in Los Angeles, the charity cares for numerous dogs, many of whom were displaced during the devastating Californian wildfires. Allegedly, Brooklyn criticized Victoria Beckham, his mother, for not supporting his wife in her efforts to promote the charity.
In spite of her unwavering dedication to fundraising for Yogi’s House, the affluent heiress seems to have severed connections with the shelter after purportedly being removed from its website and unfollowing them on social media.
A representative for Nicola, when questioned about the abrupt change in the Transformers star’s involvement, provided no specific reason for her departure. However, they emphasized Nicola’s admiration for Yogi’s House’s efforts to aid canine welfare in California and her ongoing exploration of alternative avenues to contribute to dog welfare causes.
Yogi’s House, which identifies itself as being “owned and operated by women” on social platforms, has yet to issue a statement.
Tensions escalated between the Peltz and Beckham families in January, with Brooklyn accusing his parents of undermining his relationship with Nicola. Furthermore, he accused David and Victoria of neglecting his wife’s charity initiatives.
Brooklyn alleged that despite the Peltz family’s $10,300 donation, Victoria declined to assist, despite it being one of Nicola’s primary interests.
In a bold statement, he declared, “We’ve consistently shown up and supported every fashion show, party, and media event over the years to present ourselves as ‘the perfect family.’ But when my wife sought my mother’s help to rescue displaced dogs during the LA fires, my mother refused.”
Nicola previously explained the origins of Yogi’s House in a 2023 interview, recounting how she, her publicist Alex Schack, and friend Emma Kenney began rescuing shelter dogs, leading to a deep commitment to the cause.
