Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have finalized their divorce after Nicole initiated the process three months ago. The 58-year-old actress and the 57-year-old musician have swiftly come to an agreement to divide their substantial assets, estimated at around $282 million (£210 million). The settlement was reached in a Nashville court.
Nicole will have primary custody of their daughters, 17-year-old Sunday and 15-year-old Faith, without Keith being required to pay monthly child support. Both parties have decided not to provide spousal support. Nicole is expected to have the children for 306 days a year, while Keith will have them for 59 days annually, equivalent to alternate weekends.
According to court documents from US Weekly, Nicole and Keith agreed on a parenting plan in early September. They committed to refraining from speaking negatively about each other or their families and to promote a healthy relationship between the children and both parents.
In documents obtained from the Daily Mail, it was revealed that the couple’s real estate assets will be equitably distributed to meet both parties’ needs, with each retaining their current properties. Nicole and Keith jointly own various properties, including a luxury duplex in Manhattan, a Beverly Hills residence, a Nashville mansion, and an estate in Australia’s Southern Highlands.
Reports of Nicole and Keith ending their 19-year marriage emerged in September 2025, citing their hectic careers and intimacy issues as reasons for the split. Publicly, signs of tension between the couple had surfaced earlier, with no public appearances together since the beginning of the year. In a radio interview in July, Keith abruptly ended the conversation after a question regarding Nicole’s recent film roles.
During an interview with Australia’s Mix 102.3 radio show, Keith was asked about his feelings seeing his wife act alongside younger actors like Zac Efron. The interview abruptly ended, with Keith disconnecting from the call. The couple’s separation has garnered significant attention due to their long-standing relationship and shared assets.
