The event, reportedly concerning a Frontier Airlines flight, took place on Friday night and was followed by a fire onboard.

Flight 4345’s crew confirmed the presence of 231 individuals on the aircraft, with emergency response vehicles dispatched to the location, according to reports from The Mirror US. Fortunately, there were no immediate reports of injuries among the passengers.

Unconfirmed reports on social media suggested that a pedestrian inadvertently entered a Colorado airport runway and was hit by the Frontier jet during takeoff. Allegedly, the plane aborted its takeoff after detecting smoke and fire in the cabin, prompting a swift evacuation of passengers, as per various social media posts.

The Mirror has not independently verified the social media claims yet and is reaching out to Frontier Airlines for an official statement regarding the Friday night incident.

This incident occurred shortly after a United Airlines flight collided with a bakery lorry on the New Jersey Turnpike while preparing to land at Newark Liberty International Airport. The lorry driver, identified as Warren Boardley Jr., sustained glass-related injuries to his arm and hand and was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment.

The United flight, a Boeing 767 arriving from Venice, Italy, also made contact with a light pole during its landing. United Airlines assured that the aircraft completed a safe landing, taxied to the gate without incident, and that no passengers or crew members were harmed. The maintenance team is assessing the aircraft’s damage, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident.
