A physician allegedly suggested that the Princess of Wales and the King’s cancers might have been triggered by Covid vaccines and is now running for office under the Reform Party in the upcoming local elections. Professor Angus Dalgleish reportedly made these remarks at the Reform UK conference while attending a speech by cardiologist Dr. Aseem Malhotra, indicating that the Covid vaccines could have played a significant role in the Royal Family members’ cancer.

Following the controversial statement in September, the Reform party distanced itself from Dr. Malhotra’s assertions, stating that they do not support his views. Despite this, Prof Dalgleish, who later confirmed his belief in the vaccine-cancer link to the British Medical Journal, is now a Reform UK candidate in the Sutton ward of North Cheam.

In response to the claims made by Prof Dalgleish, Sir Keir Starmer criticized the Reform Party’s stance on vaccines, emphasizing the importance of vaccination in protecting public health. Prof Dalgleish, a former UKIP member, previously contested for the party in the 2015 General Election and has been vocal about his concerns regarding the strain on the NHS due to immigration.

Health experts have debunked the theory linking Covid vaccines to cancer, emphasizing the safety and efficacy of the vaccines in preventing severe illness. Cancer Research has refuted any credible evidence supporting this claim, and Professor Brian Ferguson of the University of Cambridge labeled such assertions as pseudoscience that could potentially harm public health.

The Princess of Wales revealed her cancer diagnosis in 2024 and underwent treatment, while King Charles received an early diagnosis and effective treatment for his undisclosed cancer in February of the same year. The Mirror has reached out to Reform for their response on this matter.
