Police have provided an update on their inquiry into the death of a woman in Greater Manchester.
Emergency services swiftly responded to a fire at Higher Tunshill Farm in Milnrow, Rochdale, at around 12:30 pm last Friday. During the incident, the body of a woman was discovered on the premises, prompting an initial murder probe by the authorities.
Initially, a spokesperson from Greater Manchester Police stated that emergency services had located the woman’s body inside stables at Higher Tunshill Farm following reports of a fire. A man in his forties was taken into custody on suspicion of murder but has since been released on bail pending further investigation. The investigation is ongoing as the authorities continue their inquiries at the scene.
However, a recent statement from the police has confirmed that the woman’s death did not involve any third-party participation.
In a recent update released by the police, it was stated that following investigations into the death of a 38-year-old woman found after the fire at Higher Tunshill Farm, detectives have concluded that no external parties were involved in her demise. The man previously arrested on suspicion of murder has been released without further action at this time.
The circumstances surrounding the woman’s death will now be referred to the coroner for further examination, and an inquest will be conducted in the near future.
