Prince Harry made surprise appearances at various events while missing a major royal gathering. Shortly after other working royals attended King Charles’ official birthday celebration, Harry showed up at the NBA finals in Texas and later joined the Warrior Games for military personnel supported by the US Government.

The Warrior Games, known for inspiring Harry’s successful Invictus Games, cater to wounded, injured, or ill military members. During his visit to the Warrior Games in San Antonio, Harry was seen helping with barbecue food and participating in medal ceremonies to support the competitors and their families.

Harry’s presence at the Games followed his attendance at an NBA finals game between the San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks. Accompanied by US Army veteran JP Lane, he cheered on the teams and engaged with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver during the match.

While neither Meghan nor their children were present at the NBA game, the royal couple has been actively attending sporting events since relocating to the US in 2020. Meanwhile, King Charles participated in the Trooping the Colour event, showcasing the British Army’s ceremonial traditions, which Harry has not attended in the past four years.

At the Trooping the Colour event, the Princess of Wales and her children joined the Queen and spectators to witness the grand display of prestigious regiments at Horse Guards Parade. Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis watched the spectacle from the Duke of Wellington’s former office in central London.

Crowds gathered along The Mall to witness the royal family’s carriage procession from Buckingham Palace, with Charles and Camilla surrounded by a Sovereign’s Escort provided by the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment. Harry’s involvement in these events highlights his ongoing support for military and sporting communities.
