Queen Elizabeth II is being honored with a limited edition collector’s bear in celebration of what would have been her 100th birthday. Crafted from luxurious mohair, the Queen Elizabeth II Bear showcases intricate details typical of Steiff, the renowned teddy bear maker with a 150-year legacy. Each bear, priced at £289 and limited to 4,996 pieces globally, pays tribute to the Queen’s remarkable life, who lived to the age of 96.
Every bear in this special edition is uniquely numbered and comes in a premium souvenir bag along with a certificate of authenticity. The bear, featuring fine colored embroidery on its feet, is fully articulate with five-way joints. It reflects the Queen’s 100th birthday with grace and style.
Clad in one of Queen Elizabeth II’s iconic ensembles – a vibrant lime green coat with a matching hat, reminiscent of one of her final official appearances – the bear also sports classic accessories such as a pearl necklace, crystal brooch, and signature handbag.
In other commemorations, the royal family will lead tributes, with King Charles delivering a pre-recorded address celebrating his mother’s life and legacy. Buckingham Palace will host representatives from various charities and organizations associated with Queen Elizabeth II, in her memory.
Furthermore, a set of 12 stamps has been released by Royal Mail in honor of the Queen’s centenary. The main set of eight stamps features images from different stages of her life, while an additional four stamps in a miniature sheet pay homage to her lifelong passion for horses and dogs.
Following the upcoming commemorations, King Charles and Queen Camilla are set to embark on a controversial State Visit to the United States, hosted by President Donald Trump. This visit occurs amidst tensions in the Middle East and during a critical period in the UK-US relationship.
