According to Cancer Research, there are approximately 3,299 new cases of cervical cancer annually in the UK, with 880 deaths from cervical cancer reported between 2022 and 2024. The good news is that 99.8% of cervical cancer cases are preventable.
Feeling nervous before my appointment, I walked to my GP practice on a sunny day, ready to listen to music but realized I hadn’t played anything. Once at the doctor’s office, I had a minor annoyance with another patient before being called in for my appointment.
