Romeo Beckham is following a similar career path to his brother Brooklyn, as he transitions into acting with a new role in a romantic tennis film. The announcement comes amidst Brooklyn exploring various professions and distancing himself from the family.
Studiocanal recently revealed a sneak peek of Romeo, 23, in his debut acting role in the movie “Forty Love,” directed by the well-known fashion photographer Pierre-Ange Carlotti. The film, set in the world of professional tennis on the French Riviera, also stars Paul Kircher, Guillaume Canet, Benjamin Voisin, and Catherine Deneuve.
“Forty Love,” which marks Carlotti’s directorial debut, is produced by Hugo Sélignac and Paco de Bary at Chi-Fou-Mi Production, a Mediawan subsidiary, and co-produced by Studiocanal and Manna Studios.
Despite his new venture into acting, Romeo seems to still hold reservations towards his brother Brooklyn, who appears to be distancing himself from the family. In a recent incident, Cruz and Romeo publicly supported their younger sister Harper, 14, amid accusations that the family orchestrated her visit to Brooklyn.
The family drama escalated as Harper was seen visiting Brooklyn’s Beverly Hills residence with a handwritten letter, which sparked controversy.
