Sarah Ferguson Mourns Tragic Loss of Former Nanny Charge

Published on

Sarah Ferguson is facing a personal tragedy following the sudden death of a child she once cared for as a nanny. Before marrying Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and becoming part of the Royal Family, the ex-Duchess of York had worked as a nanny for a man whose sons she later looked after. Paddy McNally, a British businessman and former racing driver, tragically lost his son Sean, who reportedly passed away unexpectedly. Sean, in his early 50s, lived a secluded life on a Scottish estate and has already been laid to rest.

Ferguson, who had a romantic relationship with Paddy from 1982 to 1985, remains a close friend of the family. She often visited Paddy’s luxury chalet in Verbier, Switzerland, known as The Castle, even after their romantic involvement ended. Following the release of emails between Ferguson and Jeffrey Epstein, she kept a low profile, retreating from the public eye after her royal titles were stripped. Speculations arose about her whereabouts as she was not seen for months post-scandal, prompting rumors of hiding at Paddy McNally’s Wiltshire residence.

It was suggested that Fergie might have sought solace with Count Gaddo della Gherardesca, her former boyfriend post-divorce from Andrew. The count owns a vast estate in Tuscany and a ski lodge in Verbier. Amidst the uncertainties surrounding Ferguson’s retreat, questions linger about her absence and the support she received from her ex-partners during tumultuous times.
