A senior man has been taken into custody in relation to the passing of an elderly woman. The 75-year-old individual is being held after the discovery of the 82-year-old woman at a residence on Elm Avenue in Cherry Willingham, situated in the West Lindsey part of Lincolnshire, on Monday afternoon.

The authorities have notified the woman’s relatives. Lincolnshire Police mentioned that they are treating the woman’s demise as suspicious for now, but are keeping an open mind until they receive the results of tests and toxicology to gain a better understanding of the circumstances surrounding her death. They have confirmed that there is no active search for any other individuals linked to the case.
