Jonathan Andic, a 45-year-old man, has shared new video footage in an effort to demonstrate his innocence after being accused of murdering his billionaire father. Isak Andic, the 71-year-old co-founder of clothing retailer Mango, tragically fell to his death from a cliff during a hike near Barcelona. Jonathan, who was arrested on suspicion of murder but later released on €1 million bail, vehemently denies the allegations as serious, unjust, and unfounded.
The newly released CCTV footage shows Isak stumbling and falling outside a building in Barcelona, being caught by bystanders. This incident reportedly occurred about ten months before his fatal fall. Prosecutors claim the absence of defensive injuries on Isak’s hands suggests he was pushed intentionally, while Jonathan’s defense argues that the fall captured in the video could explain the lack of defensive injuries.
Jonathan, in an open letter, refuted the murder accusations and criticized the one-sided public narrative surrounding the case. He also addressed claims of a toxic relationship with his father, emphasizing the positive moments shared within their family. Mango’s board of directors expressed confidence in a favorable resolution of the legal proceedings and hoped for a swift conclusion.
