During the festivities, Mel shared that she invited her bandmates to join her on stage for a spontaneous performance. Wearing a Victoria Beckham dress in tribute to her absent bandmate, Mel hinted that their hit “Two Became One” also made an appearance at the event.
This was Mel’s second wedding, following a legal ceremony in Australia. Reflecting on her unexpected journey to marriage, Mel expressed her focus on her career over relationships. She praised her husband, Chris, for his calming presence and described him as a wonderful addition to her life and her daughter Scarlett’s life.
Victoria Beckham revealed that Mel had initially planned to wear one of her dresses but it didn’t fit in time for the ceremony. Fortunately, Victoria offered her own dress to Mel as a solution.
