The Anti-racist organization expressed sympathy for the family of 18-year-old Henry and condemned the alleged mishandling by Hampshire police officers who apprehended him. Vickrum Digwa, 23, was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 21 years for fatally stabbing Henry on December 3, 2025.

Various far-right figures in the UK and internationally have capitalized on the outrage surrounding Henry’s murder. Nigel Farage, the leader of Reform UK, intervened in the discussion by stating that the rights of white individuals are undervalued compared to ethnic minorities in a “two-tier Britain.”

A demonstration against the police turned violent near the location of Henry’s death in Southampton, prompting Stand up to Racism to release a statement. The organization conveyed its condolences to Henry Nowak’s family and expressed dismay over the dissemination of hate by known fascists and far-right activists exploiting the tragic incident.
