The Wanted band member Max George was hospitalized on Tuesday morning, a year after receiving a pacemaker. He shared a photo from his hospital bed, expressing frustration at the situation happening at night and mentioning his dog, Albert. Later, he posted a selfie saying, “Running HOT.”
In a recent update, Max mentioned undergoing tests following multiple heart surgeries. He had previously undergone an emergency operation after getting a pacemaker in 2024. Max explained that he had a chest scan due to a lung issue but assured it was just a precaution.
Last November, Max provided a health update after being rushed to the hospital once again. He mentioned experiencing an arrhythmia, where the heart’s rhythm was abnormal. Max shared his adjustment to a different lifestyle post-surgery, emphasizing the need to be cautious with physical activities.
Max reflected on the sudden health issue, calling it “crazy” and expressing his eagerness to return to performing. Despite facing setbacks, including a second operation, he remained optimistic about his recovery before the upcoming Christmas season.
The news of Max’s health struggles came as a blow to the singer known for songs like “Walks Like Rihanna” and “Gold Forever,” with his primary focus being a swift return to the stage. Max remains hopeful for a smoother recovery this time around, aiming for less drama compared to the previous year.
