A group of thieves was caught on camera attempting to steal a cash machine in Teddington, southwest London. The incident, which involved using a hammer to break into the machine, was recorded by a witness on their mobile phone. The suspects fled the scene, leaving behind a vehicle that has been seized by the police.

In the CCTV footage, one of the perpetrators can be seen wearing black clothing and a beanie hat while trying to access the cash machine. Shortly after, another man drives the vehicle onto the sidewalk near the ATM. The thieves then connect cables from the car to the machine before speeding off, dragging the ATM onto the road.

One of the culprits stayed behind, holding a hammer, as onlookers tried to make sense of the situation. A resident expressed surprise at the theft, mistaking the aftermath for a mere accident. Despite the incident, no arrests have been made yet, but the police are actively investigating and seeking the four individuals involved.
