A 13-year-old boy who had gone missing while swimming off the coast of East Yorkshire has been found deceased. Emergency services responded to reports of the boy in distress at Hornsea’s South Promenade area on Tuesday evening. Chief Superintendent Phil Booker from Humberside Police confirmed the incident, stating that the boy encountered difficulties while swimming.

Following the report, a thorough search and rescue mission involving HM Coastguard, Hornsea Inshore Rescue, RNLI, and the police was initiated.
