The family of a vibrant and lively four-year-old girl who was eagerly anticipating her first day of primary school have expressed their heartfelt condolences after she tragically passed away due to a car accident.
The incident occurred on Nottingham Road in Gotham at 2:28 pm on Sunday, and emergency responders were quickly on the scene following the collision, as reported by Nottinghamshire Police.
Despite the efforts made, Olive Farrow succumbed to her injuries shortly after being taken to the hospital. A 59-year-old man was taken into custody on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, although he has since been released on bail.
In a poignant statement shared by the police, Olive’s family described her as a small yet exuberant girl with a larger-than-life personality. They reminisced about her love for singing, dancing, and spreading joy through affectionate gestures, emphasizing her creativity through the vibrant paintings she created.
The family highlighted Olive’s close bond with her brothers Teddy and Sonny, whom she adored and looked up to with immense love. They revealed Olive’s excitement about joining her brother Sonny at primary school, where she had already participated in taster sessions.
