Taking to Truth Social after the meeting, Trump reiterated the US’s commitment to supporting Lebanon against Hezbollah and confirmed the three-week extension of the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon. He concluded by expressing his honor at being part of the significant gathering.
Earlier reports had indicated that Israel and Lebanon were scheduled for further talks in Washington DC to discuss a potential one-month extension of the ceasefire agreement.
