Tyson Fury has recently sold his family mansion located by the seaside at a remarkable price. The renowned heavyweight boxer resided in Morecambe for 17 years with his wife Paris and their seven children. The family shared their lives in the second season of “At Home with the Furys” on Netflix, showcasing Tyson’s latest retirement attempt that concluded on April 11.
In the latest episode, Tyson and Paris made the decision to move out of Morecambe, selling their mansion for £700,000 in August after initially listing it for £800,000. The couple had purchased the property for £480,000 in 2015, featuring six bedrooms, three bathrooms, and stunning coastal views, with a unique ‘The Gypsy King’ mural on the driveway.
Reflecting on their time in Morecambe, Tyson expressed nostalgia, saying, “Leaving the nest, it’s sad really. I’ve been in Morecambe for 17 years. It’s gone like a flash.” Despite fond memories, the family faced privacy challenges, receiving unwanted letters from strangers, including requests for financial assistance. A notable incident involved an individual scaling their fence and asking Tyson to “adopt” them, prompting the family to move to the Isle of Man, where they now reside in a new home valued at around £8 million.
For those interested, “At Home with the Furys” is currently available for streaming on Netflix. Sky is also offering a complimentary Netflix subscription with its new Sky Stream TV bundles, providing access to live and on-demand TV content without the need for a satellite dish or aerial, featuring popular shows like Stranger Things and The Last of Us.
