Brits may face freezing weather with sub-zero temperatures, as indicated by an ominous weather map.

From March 9, several UK cities are set to experience wintry conditions, with forecasts from WXCharts showing temperatures dropping as low as -13C.

Northern cities like Leeds, Liverpool, and Manchester could also expect cold weather, according to the map.

The upcoming forecast from the Met Office starting March 10 predicts changeable conditions with Atlantic frontal systems bringing rain and possibly strong winds, especially in the northwest.

The Met Office mentioned that the southeast might experience drier conditions, with temperatures expected to be around normal levels or slightly above.

Looking at the week ahead, Tuesday could start damp but brighten up in southern and central regions, with the possibility of sunny spells. Other areas may remain cloudy with chances of rain.

The forecast for Wednesday to Friday includes rain in the north and west on Wednesday, followed by drier conditions and sunshine in the southeast. Thursday is expected to bring wetter and windier weather for all, with cooler temperatures and a mix of sunshine and showers on Friday.

Across England, there are currently 49 flood warnings in effect, with the Environment Agency warning of ongoing flooding impacts in parts of the South of England and Somerset, potentially causing travel disruptions and property flooding.
