Looking ahead to tomorrow, the Met Office anticipates rain and thundery showers in north-west Scotland. Although low cloud and fog could impact North Sea coasts, most regions are expected to experience very hot conditions.
For the upcoming weekend, the Met Office projects another hot day in the east on Friday, with cooler and fresher conditions moving in from the west into the weekend. This shift will bring spells of rain and thundery showers.
The BBC’s weather forecast for the weekend also suggests continued hot and humid weather on Friday and Saturday, with temperatures moderating by Sunday. Sunshine is expected throughout the period, with a risk of scattered thunderstorms on Friday morning and Saturday afternoon and evening, along with a slight chance of thundery showers on Sunday.
