Ukraine launched airstrikes on a Wildberries facility, known as the “Russian Amazon,” early this morning, as part of its efforts to target military sites in occupied Crimea and disrupt Moscow’s operations. The attack on a Wildberries depot in the Vladimir region caused significant damage, with thick black smoke billowing from the site. This marks the 18th assault on the online retail giant, aimed at penalizing the company for supplying military equipment.

Following a ballistic missile strike that killed nine and injured many in Kyiv, President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed that Ukraine has depleted its supply of essential Patriot missiles. A drone strike on a Wildberries outlet in Samara was carried out just hours before the latest attack. Zelensky emphasized the urgent need for anti-ballistic interceptors to counter Russian threats.

In another move, Ukraine targeted a university in Russia’s Belgorod region, suspected of developing advanced drone technology. President Zelensky highlighted that Russia has intensified its missile production efforts. Despite the high cost of Patriot missiles, the US administration’s stance on providing them to Ukraine remains uncertain.

Russian authorities reported downing 635 Ukrainian drones in a single night, while Ukraine disclosed that Russian military losses in July reached a monthly peak of 42,860 personnel. Zelensky warned of Russia’s plans to bolster its military forces to compensate for escalating casualties, with Moscow reportedly enlisting North Korean troops to support its operations.
